Our tour guide was thoughtful, knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. She took epecially good care of my elderly mother, for whom all the walking was a challenge. She took us a roundabout way so we could use the elevator. I really appreicated her attentiveness, and it is clear that she loves her job and was happy to be with us. My only regret was that the tour was so short in light of the seemingly endless things to see at Uffizi. Accademia is small, by comparison, but the David alone is reason enough to go there. Even better, the Accademia had a long line that this tour let us skip, which was amazing. However, provided you have the time and inclination, you could spend a whole day just exploring Uffizi. If you want to spend a moment with every piece of art the Medici collected, there, I would book these tours separately so you can hang around after. Still, you'd find a guide's walkthrough of the layout, highlights, and history at Uffizi helpful.
