You come to the village to experience the landscape and to visit only a few of the windmills. We really appreciated seeing how the last families of the two mills lived. We did this activity not as part of a group tour, which made it more enjoyable. The sites don't lend them to having many people trying to view them at once. It was a lot of walking and we weren't without the risk of bicyclists weaving between pedestrians.

Everything went ok until we were informed that the boat that was stopping in 2 places could not take us back due to be charged As a result we had to walk all the way back . And if we were interested to catch the non stop boat we had to go all way back as well.

Very nice. Modern entrance facility followed by the beautiful windmills. More than expected. Inside one of them was wonderful. The fact the workings moved was great and the man outside adjusting the sails. Great insight. Walk along path was relaxing. Easy to park.
